Mercedes’ Maintenance Schedule

Mercedes vehicles are known for their luxury and technology, and there’s no better example of this than the Flexible Service System (FSS). The system monitors your vehicle’s driving patterns to determine when you’re due for your next maintenance visit. This maintenance schedule is broken into two alternating sessions known as A Service and B Service. Service A (minor service) occurs after your first year or 10,000 miles — whichever comes first — and happens again every two years or 20,000 miles. During this visit, our trained technicians will change your engine oil, replace your oil filter, top off fluids, inflate and inspect your tires, inspect your brake components, and reset the maintenance counter. Service B (known as major service) occurs after two years or 20,000 miles and repeats at that same interval. In addition to the services in Service A, our technicians will also replace the cabin dust/combination filter and exchange brake fluid. Depending on your year and model, your maintenance service indicator may also indicate that you need Services C, D, E, F, G, or H. These letters give you an idea of how many hours services may last so that you can plan your visit accordingly. For example, Service C is expected to last three hours, while Service H is expected to last eight hours. No matter what the FSS suggests, visit the professionals at Eurofed Automotive in Atlanta, Georgia, if you need Mercedes maintenance services.
